As a service to our members and the New England weaving community, WGB maintains a list of looms, spinning wheels, and related equipment offered for sale. The most recent items are at the top of the list. The list is searchable if you are looking for a specific item. To find out how, click below:
Please Note: Any photo larger than 125kb will be rejected. In addition, we do not have an ISO section.
You do not need to be a member of the Weavers’ Guild of Boston to place a listing, and you may list looms and equipment that are also listed on other sites. Include the following information: name and maker (if known). If you are listing a loom, include weaving width, type of loom (rising shed, counterbalance, countermarche, dobby, computer-dobby etc.), number of shafts and treadles, approximate age and condition, and any additional included equipment. Also include the asking price and if the price is negotiable.
Add your name, telephone number and email address. Personal contact information will not be listed on the website.
Each item remains on the list for 6 months unless it is sold or you request to have the listing renewed. Your only obligation is that you notify the Guild when the loom is sold. You may upload one picture with your listing. Please make sure that the file is no greater than 125 kb in size and is in jpg format. We cannot post large photos and we will not resize or correct photo orientation. (Please see the How To below).
We reserve the right to decline any listing, and we will remove redundant material from the listing. Please note we are not appraisers and cannot tell you the value of an item. If you are unsure of the price you’d like, the best option is to search online for similar used items for sale and base your price on that information. We do not list yarns or fiber, books or magazines for sale, only looms and weaving or spinning equipment.

Please be aware that there are scammers out there who will try to trick you into sending them money. Accept payments of the correct amount only and do not refund excess payments. Make sure any payment has cleared through the bank before delivery.

The list is updated weekly, usually on Sunday or Monday, unless there
are no additions or deletions.

You do not need to be a member of the Weavers’ Guild of Boston to purchase any listed equipment. Listings are not exclusive. The same loom and/or equipment may be found on other used loom listing venues.
