ZOOM WORKSHOP RECORDING
Date: Saturday January 9, January 16, and January 23rd, 2027 10am-5pm

Workshop Description: This 3-day online workshop introduces participants to the history, structure, and common motifs of krokbragd. Debby Greenlaw, author of Krokbragd: How to Design & Weave and Krokbragd Patterns, offers guidance on choosing colors and yarns, managing selvages, and finishing techniques. Attendees will weave a krokbragd sampler during the workshop. The finale showcases inspirational pieces and guidance on planning and designing projects. It is a fun-filled 3 days!
Supplies: Students are requested to bring to class:
1. loom - any loom with a minimum of 3 shafts or the ability to make 3 different sheds. This can be:
• floor loom
• table loom
• rigid heddle with two heddles or two pick-up sticks or a pick-up stick and a heddle rod
2. reed with the ability to sley at either 10 or 12 ends per inch (epi) see Yarn & Sett Choices
3. 3 shuttles - your choice (ex. boat shuttles, stick shuttles, or netting shuttles)
4. threading and sley hook
5. hand beater (ex. tapestry beater, hair pick, fork)tapestry needle (large eye)
6. scissors
7. press cloth (ex. cotton hankie)
8. iron and an ironing board or mat
A complete Equipment and Materials List will be sent by Debby Greenlaw 30 days prior to the workshop.

Instructor Bio: Debby Greenlaw is the author of Krokbragd: How to Design & Weave and Krokbragd Patterns. After more than 40 years as a nurse and nurse practitioner, Debby retired to a small farm in rural South Carolina, where she shares the property with a herd of dairy goats, chickens, a mini donkey, a barn cat, and a playful puppy. She loves many fiber arts and enjoys presenting online programs and workshops between farm chores and gardening. On her blog, Flora & Fiber, Debby shares the skills she has learned, farm-life adventures she has experienced, and insights she has gleaned.
