The Textile Museum in Washington D. C.

Located at George Washington University, The Textile Museum and the George Washington University Museum provide virtual resources for textile historians and culture explorers, but also for the textile artisans who seek ideas and inspiration.

This collaboration produced in-depth exhibitions, Zoom programs and collections for public viewing from home.

One can view a curated tour of the Global Collection of Lloyd Cotsen in vimeo format and find wonderful stories and interesting textiles.

The example (rght) also comes from the Lloyd Cotsen Study Collection of 90 fragments from around the world.

There is a lot to explore including the pilot website that displays highlights from the five collections of the University and The Textile Museum:!m/Highlight/l5MVOI2zRK2wtXM4R_n4qg/form/HigCatalogViewFrm
