On-Line Digital Archive of Documents on Weaving and Related Topics

Updated: Nov 5, 2020

This weaving site is the brainchild of Ralph E. Griswold, a brilliant computer scientist who developed many high-level computer languages at Bell Labs and finished his storied career as Regent's Professor at the Univ. of Arizona. Upon retirement, he launched an archive of weaving history via scanned manuscripts, illustrations, articles, journals, periodicals, books, newsletters, and more. The University of Arizona Computer Science School continues to maintain this site. Weavers access this site for historical and detailed records.
