Annual Meeting

Our afternoon speaker will be Edward Maeder. His topic is The Rise and Fall of the Breast: The Aesthetics of the Bosom in History. He is also presenting a morning workshop How Firm a Foundation: the Importance of Corsets in Women’s Lives in the 18th and 19th Century.

Also the morning-workshop sessions that would have been held in February will run this month.

During Weavers Helping Weavers, Adele Peterdi Harvey will discuss Hungarian textiles from her own collection.

Please bring samples or finished pieces from this year’s morning workshops or the Special Workshops in April to show. Several people have passed the Ratings this year and their work will be on display.

The potluck lunch will be held. Please bring something to share. Be sure to include a card with ingredients since some members have food allergies. Pack your coffee mug, plate, utensils, and a handwoven place mat
