Education Grants

Any Guild Member of good standing with at least one years membership may apply for a Education Grant. The aggregate lifetime total granted to any one member will be $1000.

Current grant categories include:

  • WGB morning and special workshops
  • NEWS and Convergence registration fees
  • tuition for textile related study at an accredited institution
  • skill development at a recognized weaving school
  • research, which will require an application and proposal and a report suitable for the library upon completion
  • independent study, requiring a report suitable for the library

Categories for grants are subject to change yearly at the discretion of the committee and the availability of funds.

Applications may be requested in writing along with a SASE from the chairperson of the Education Grant Committee.
